WEDDING INSPIRATION: A MAGICAL WEDDING ON SCHWIELOWSEE LOVE, TRUST, AND MUSIC IN THE AIR

The atmosphere was truly enchanting on this wonderful wedding day at Schwielowsee. From the early morning, the sky was covered in a blanket of gray clouds, creating a sense of magic and anticipation. The humid air seemed to whisper tales of imagination, adding to the intrigue of the day. As a photographer, I hoped for no rain, and fortunately, our wishes were granted.

I first met Anni a few years ago in Berlin, and I couldn’t have been happier when I received an email from her about her upcoming wedding. There was a complete trust between us, which laid the foundation for an incredible journey together on their special day. It was an international wedding, filled with love, joy, and beautiful moments that we captured together.

The day began at the Precise Resort Schwielowsee, a remarkable venue that offered everything needed for a memorable wedding celebration. With its friendly staff, picturesque location close to Potsdam and Berlin, and all the amenities required for a great event, it was the perfect choice. The resort provided a stunning backdrop for the wedding festivities, creating an atmosphere of elegance and romance.

The ceremony took place in the historic American Church in Berlin, nestled within the charming atmosphere of Dortfkirche Caputh. As we entered, a chill filled the air, reminding us of the wintry day outside. If you are planning an event at this location, I would recommend bringing some extra layers to keep warm and comfortable during the ceremony.

After the ceremony we embraced the opportunity to walk hand-in-hand by the serene lake, enjoying the tranquility and the beauty of the surroundings for around 40 minutes. Thanks to Anni’s sister for help with holding the bride’s belongings. 

What made this wedding even more extraordinary was the fact that Anni is an opera singer. Her mesmerizing voice transported us to the heavens during the church ceremony, and later on, it filled the air with melodies at the reception. It was a truly captivating experience, as her voice added a touch of magic and created an unforgettable ambiance. Some of the guest prepared music surprises as well. Lovely! 

Together, we celebrated love, captured heartfelt moments, and created a timeless collection of photographs that will forever tell the story of this remarkable day. The trust, connection, and shared joy between us made the experience even more memorable.
