Venues for corporate events in Munich

A lot of what you see in event photos depends on the room: whether there is daylight, how high the ceiling is and how much space there is around the stage. Below is a list of Munich venues for corporate events, from a private dinner for twelve people to a congress for several thousand.

I’m Inna Zaytseva, a corporate event photographer working in Munich. All photos on this page are from events I photographed, and for the venues where I have worked I added a short note on the light.

Capacities are the maximum numbers published by each venue. The actual number depends on the seating, so check with the venue before booking.

Private dining and executive roundtables (10–50 guests)

For a roundtable or a client dinner you need a separate room where people can talk without noise from other tables.

Mandarin Oriental, Munich (Altstadt). Three interconnecting rooms on the first floor with daylight, for up to 150 guests together, plus a roof terrace for receptions.

Hotel München Palace (Bogenhausen). A family-run five-star boutique hotel. The restaurant seats up to 33 for a private dinner and there is a winter garden with a terrace.

Koenigshof, a Luxury Collection Hotel (Karlsplatz). Opened in 2024. Two event rooms for up to 50 guests, one of them on the 9th floor with its own bar and terrace.

LOUIS Hotel (Viktualienmarkt). Private dining for 10–14 guests with access to the roof terrace. The Grillroom takes up to 90.

Käfer-Schänke (Bogenhausen). Around nineteen themed private rooms for 2 to 50 guests above the Käfer delicatessen.

Photographer’s note: the light in the rooms is quite yellow, so photos come out warm. Flash changes that, but it gives a more editorial look, which does not suit every event.

Pageou (Fünf Höfe). Restaurant of chef Ali Güngörmüş with Mediterranean and East Anatolian cooking. A gallery for up to 20 guests for private dinners; the whole restaurant takes up to 100 at a seated dinner.

Photographer’s note: the gallery upstairs is quite tight. About 15 guests are comfortable there, not more. For a bigger group, book the main room downstairs instead: it has very large windows and a lot of beautiful light. Upstairs it is fairly dark, which I can handle as a professional photographer.

Photographer’s note: big windows and a lot of daylight, so the photos come out bright and beautiful.

Luxury hotels (up to 600 guests)

A hotel is the simplest option for a conference with a dinner afterwards, because catering, technology and rooms for speakers are in one building. For photos, a ballroom with windows helps a lot.

Hotel Bayerischer Hof (Promenadeplatz). Art deco ballroom with a glass roof that opens in minutes. Around 500 seated or 850 standing, more with the adjoining rooms.

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski (Maximilianstraße). Ballroom Maximilian, 510 m² with daylight, for up to 600 guests. Twelve event rooms in total.
